About Us

Welcome to Tanuvii
At Tanuvii, we believe children's clothing should be soft enough to live in, made by people rather than machines, and honest about where it comes from.
We are a handmade boyswear brand from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, working with traditional Indian fabrics — Kalamkari, block print, Mangalagiri handloom, and pure muslin — to make clothes that are comfortable, breathable, and quietly beautiful.

Our Story
Tanuvii began with a simple problem: good clothes for little boys are surprisingly hard to find. Plenty of choice for girls. For boys, mostly polyester, mostly loud, mostly the same.
So we started making our own. Cotton that breathes in Indian weather. Prints stamped by hand rather than printed by machine. Clothes a child can actually move in.
Today we make about 25-35 pieces a week, cut and stitched by hand in our small studio. Not a season's worth. Not a container load. 25-35.

What We Offer

Our collection is made for boys from newborn to 5 years — jhablas and onesies for the first year, shirts, kurtas and vests for everyday and festive wear, and shorts, pants and pyjamas to go with them.
Every piece is made from natural fabric: hand block-printed Kalamkari from Machilipatnam, handloom Mangalagiri woven in Andhra Pradesh, and soft crinkle and double-layered muslin chosen for one reason — it's the gentlest thing we can find against a child's skin.

Our Commitment
At Tanuvii, honest making is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to:
* Using only natural, breathable fabrics — no polyester, ever
* Working directly with block printers and handloom weavers
* Making in small batches, so nothing is wasted
* Finishing every piece by hand, including the coconut shell buttons
* Being straightforward with you about sizing, timelines, and what we have in stock.

Why Choose Tanuvii?
Truly Handmade: Every piece is stitched by hand in our own studio, not sourced from a factory.
Natural Fabrics Only: Pure cotton, muslin and handloom — chosen for comfort in Indian weather.
Traditional Craft: Kalamkari, block print and Mangalagiri, Jamdani, Ikkat made by artisans who have practiced these techniques for generations.
Small Batches: Limited pieces per design, so your child isn't wearing what everyone else is wearing.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build Tanuvii into a home for handloom and handmade children's clothing — where traditional Indian craft, natural fabric and everyday comfort come together, and where the people who make the clothes are as visible as the people who wear them.

Thank you for choosing Tanuvii and for being part of our journey.
Made Slowly. Worn Easily.
